It is made up of lots of different Affiliate and Partner Alliances that all work in unison to promote Self Defense within the US. The partners and affiliates they work with have established specific rank, promotion and membership qualifications. USMAF was recommended in the Classical Fighting Arts Magazine.

They also have free resources available on their website where you can learn things like Japanese and Korean Terminology, get forms and learn about their organizations Code of Ethics as well as some great Martial Arts books they recommend.
